Philadelphia at Pittsburgh

It seems like you can just write it down. The Pittsburgh Penguins will make the playoffs every year, and go deep into them. Right now they are playing strong hockey with eight wins in their last 10 games. They have shown some wear on the defensive end of the ice, however. After allowing just 10 total goals over a seven-game stretch, the Pens have leaked oil severely on the defensive end. The Penguins have surrendered 23 goals in their last five contests. Pittsburgh has also struggled against the Flyers and most recently they are a woeful 6-8 against them in the last 14 meetings. That includes just 4-4 on home ice. The four wins have seen two of those come by just a single goal. I look for the Flyers to be competitive here and will play them on the puck line.
