Here we are in September when the 2021 season should be warming up, and we are still looking for a 2020 Stanley Cup winner. That team was certainly supposed to be the Philadelphia Flyers, but this crazy season saw the New York Islanders take a commanding 3-1 series lead, before dropping a 4-3 decision in Game 5. Once again the Flyers face elimination, and that fourth win is so tough to get in the playoffs, especially for the lesser seed. There is a lot of pressure on the Islanders, who haven't advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals since the '92-'93 season.
