Philadelphia at Montreal

Philadelphia had a 3-2 shootout win over Montreal on Jan. 10 in the only meeting this season, and the Flyers come off a tough 6-5 overtime loss at the New York Rangers on Tuesday night. Samuel Ersson will look to redeem himself after allowing all six goals after not giving up more than three his previous five starts. Ersson still is 21-14-7 with a 2.75 goals-against average and three shutouts this season. Montreal enjoys a rare two-game win streak after defeating Colorado 2-1, but the Canadiens could be a little tired after concluding a five-game trip, and they only scored more than two goals once in those five games. Samuel Montembeault is likely in net with a 14-13-7 record. Philadelphia is 6-1 after allowing at least five goals its previous game and Montreal is 1-10 playing with one day of rest.
