Montreal needed a comeback in game one to win it. That's not deterring us from taking the better team. Montreal showed they can handle adversity and Philadelphia showed they continue to have trouble hanging on to leads. It was the third time in the young playoffs that the Flyers relinquished a 2-goal lead. Philly is now 31-61 the past three seasons vs. teams scoring 2.9+ goals per game. Montreal is 31-15 this season vs. poor defensive teams like Philly (those allowing 30+ shots on goal per game). The Canadiens are also 17-10 vs. good offensive teams averaging 3+ goals per game. Philadelphia is just 7-15 this season off a close 1 goal loss (3-10 if the loss was on the road) and they are 15-37 the past two seasons revenging a road loss. We'll take Montreal to make it two straight.
