Philadelphia at Detroit

Philadelphia has won 14 of 24 on the road this season and the Flyers are looking to avenge a wild 7-6 shootout loss to Detroit in the last meeting on Dec. 22. The Red Wings jumped out to a 5-1 first-period lead and then hung on in regulation before winning the shootout. The Red Wings have lost two of three, including 5-4 to Dallas on Tuesday. The Flyers are out to end a three-game skid and will have Samuel Ersson in net as Carter Hart has taken a leave of absence. Ersson is 12-7-3 with a 2.44 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage with three shutouts this season. Alex Lyon is confirmed for Detroit. Philadelphia has gone OVER four games in a row and it has four straight OVERS versus teams that allowed at least five goals their prevous game.
