Ottawa at Washington

Two hot teams collide. Washington has won three straight after losing six in a row. But Ottawa is much hotter. They have won eight of nine. They are doing it with strong offense and great defense. Over their run they have won by an average score of 4.2 to 2.0. They have scored 4+ in seven of those nine games and allowed 2 or less in six of nine. Comparitavely, Washington's defense is very poor. They have allowed 3.6 per game at home this season and even on their current 3-game winning streak they have allowed 12 goals. This Washington team seems to get lazy or comfortable or whatever at home. They are just 5-33 in the Glen Hanlon era following two consecutive home games.
