Vancouver had high expectations after taking Vegas to a Game 7 in the NHL Playoffs, but the Canucks are off to a 2-5 start, including two losses to Montreal, while allowing 12 goals. Thatcher Demko (0-3) is expected in net tonight and he has been knocked around to the tune of a ghastly 5.44 goals-against average, and .866 save percentage. Braden Holtby could get the call and he has been slightly better with a 3.70 goals-against average in four games. Ottawa is also struggling, but the Canucks have trouble with bad teams, too, as they have lost four in a row against teams with a win percentage of .400 or less. Matt Murray is probable in net for the Senators and he owns a 3.79 GAA in four games. Play the Senators on the puck line.
