Ottawa got its first win under interim coach Jacques Martin and snapped a six-game losing streak when the Senators defeated Pittsburgh 5-4 in overtime on Saturday. Anton Forsberg had 30 saves and Tim Stutzle scored the game-winner 1:10 into the extra session. The Senators have split two games with Toronto this season winning 6-3 on Nov. 8 and losing 4-3 on Dec. 7. The Maple Leafs have been treading water in December winning five of their past 10 games and they broke a two-game losing streak with a 4-1 win over Columbus on Saturday and it went UNDER. Toronto has lost four of five following a win and Martin Jones is likely in net as the Maple Leafs have two goalies (Matt Murray and Joseph Woll) on the injured reserve list. This is a high posted total coming after the three-day holiday break. Forsberg has a 3.29 goals-against average and is probable for this game. Play the UNDER.
