The Ottawa Senators raced out to a 3-0 start, but they certainly have been caught by the rest of the league. The Senators exploded for 15 goals over their first four games, but have since barely topped that, scoring just 18 in their last nine games, which includes just 9 in their last six games. The steady loss in offensive efficiency has turned wins into losses. Pittsburgh saw a five game winning streak come to an end, dropping a home and home series against the 8-2-2 New Jersey Devils. I expect them to rebound tonight vs. an Ottawa team that has been struggling. Pittsburgh has been rock solid over their last seven games on the defensive end by not allowing any team to score more than three times, and have allowed an average of 2 per game over the seven games. Pittsburgh has stood tall at home against teams with a losing road record where they are 38-14 in their last 52 and have been menacing off two days rest where they are 60-26 in their last 86. The Senators are now 6-1-1 to the UNDER in their last eight on the road, while the Penguins have played five straight to the UNDER vs. a winning team. The choice here is Pittsburgh, and the UNDER.
