Ottawa at New York

It would be hard to split the difference between these clubs as we head for the middle of the shortened NHL season. Both clubs are 12-8 on the season in pure wins and losses. The Rangers have been a roller coaster ride of late. After losing four straight have, they have now won four straight, which has fueled the line and it simply is too chalky here. Ottawa has follwed suit after winning five, and has now dropped four straight, which has fueled the line here based on four or five games vs. a full body of work which puts these teams much closer. The Rangers have not fared well playing for the fourth time in six nights, where they are 3-7 in their last 10. Ottawa is now 4-1 on a day of rest in their last five. Go with Ottawa.
