Detroit's rebuilding has hit the skids as the Red Wings have lost seven of nine, including 6-3 against Buffalo on Thursday and that was the night after they came back from a four-goal deficit to beat Pittsburgh 5-4 in overtime. The Red Wings couldn't work their magic two games in a row, but Magnus Hellberg will get another shot in net after allowing five goals against the Sabres. Ottawa has won two in a row, including 4-3 in overtime against Washington and 3-2 in a shootout win over Boston. The Senators have won six of nine and Cam Talbot is likely in net for this game. Alex DeBrincat scored the tying goal against the Capitals and the winner in OT and it broke Washington's five-game win streak. Detroit has lost five of seven after allowing at least five goals its previous game. Take the Senators as a Max Play.
