The Avalanche have fallen apart as the season moves into the latter stages. Colorado has now won just four of their last 15 games, and even home ice shows a 3-6 mark over their last nine. The defense and goaltending have been bad as they have allowed 58 goals over the 15-game stretch, or just about four per contest. This has been good for backers of the OVER in Avs games, taking their total goals scored over the 15 games to 101, or their games have produced an unlikely 6.7 goals per game over the last 15. The Senators offense is playing good on the road right now as they have netted 19 over the last five - or getting about four per game themselves. These teams have also played to high-scoring games in Colorado as five of the last six have gone OVER the total, and I like this one to do the same. The OVER gets the call here.
