Ottawa at Chicago

The Senators had a very bad stretch of games where they went 0-6. That isn't hard to do when the offense is slumping and scores just seven goals over the six games, not going to win too many hockey games scoring a goal a game. They have certainly turned that around as over the last six games the Senators have punched the puck through the net 19 times, or over three a game. Needless to say they have logged four wins in the past six games. At the same time they have produced a defensive effort that shows the opponents unable to score more than one in half of those games. The Blackhawks are now in their worst stretch of the season since opening with just one win in their first five as they have now only won twice in their last six times on the ice. Their poor play, combined with the fact they are just 16-38-4 vs the East in their last 58, makes the suddenly offensive Senators a live dog here and I will back them for the road win.
