Ottawa at Boston

Ottawa has a winning record both home and away and has taken control of the series, up 2-1 after dropping Game 1 at home. The Bruins stole Game 1, 2-1, but became the first team in 23 years to win a playoff game without registering a shot on goal in a period. But Ottawa has stormed back to win the last two contests by 4-3 scores. Boston continues to have depth problems and injuries. The Bruins played through a rash of injuries in the first two games, and were missing defensemen Adam McQuaid, Torey Krug, Brandon Carlo and Colin Miller on Monday. The Senators outshot the Bruins 10-3 in the first, taking advantage of several defensive breakdowns. The Senators are healthier, 15-6 playing on one day of rest, plus 9-3 after a victory.
