New York at Washington

The New York Rangers have plenty of offensive punch and balance, #5 in the NHL in goals scored and #14 in goals allowed. They come off a 3-2 win over Philadelphia last night, and the Rangers are 54-26 playing on no days rest, as well as 37-16 versus the Metropolitan Division. Goalie Henrik Lundqvist posted a 1.65 goals-against in the playoffs against Washington, and backup goalie Antti Raanta has played well, too. The Capitals also played last night, a 4-1 loss at Buffalo, and the Rangers are 41-15 when their opponent scores two goals or less in their previous game. Washington goalie Braden Holtby played last night, and backup Philipp Grubauer saw some time last night, as well, and has a 2.62 GAA against the Rangers, making this a great spot for the talented, big dog.
