The Toronto Maple Leafs' early season can be summed up in a couple of quick bursts. They have enjoyed a three-game winning streak, and a two-game winning toot. The rest of the resume has been very soft, to be kind. In their other eight games, the Maple Leafs have put together just a 1-7 record. The ugly part is that this team simply has not competed favorably in those games, as they have been out-scored 25-12 or by just about 2 goals per game. That means that if they aren't winning they tend to play with no confidence, and right now they have dropped two straight. New York caught Toronto when they were in one of those strong streaks and were beaten soundly 6-3, so I think they get a shot at a much different looking Toronto team tonight, and are playing with revenge. The Rangers vindicate themselves in this one, so play New York on the puckline.
