New York at New Jersey

The Devils will be looking for their first win as they dropped their home opener to the Flyers. The Rangers have been doing the flip-flop, opening in Pittsburgh then coming home for a single game, and are back on the road again. Regardless of the distance, all of that travel is never an easy task. The Devils have gotten the better of the Rangers at home where they have taken the last two, and three of the last four. I expect a much more focused performance here as they head out on the road for three games after this, and don't want to be 0-2 heading out. The Rangers have already lost on the road in their only attempt so far, and that makes them just 6-18 in their last 24 on the road. The Devil's are now 38-15 as a favorite of -110 to -150, and 44-17 as a home favorite in that same range. I'm going with New Jersey in this one.
