The New York Rangers took a 2-1 series lead on the strength of 3 goals all in the third period in a 3-0 win in game three. The series moves to New Jersey for game four. Despite the Ranger's game three win, the Devils have gotten in the head of the Rangers, particularly head coach John Torterella. Torterella has been infuriated by the Devil's players simulating and creating penalties on Ranger players. This series has turned ugly and the Rangers have not fared well in the role of a playoff underdog where they are 3-8 in their last 11. This is a big game for New Jersey and it has been their sweet spot as they are 25-7 in their last 32 games as a favorite of -110 to -150. Overall they have claimed victory in eight of their last ten on home ice. Play on New Jersey to even the series at home in this one.
