New York at Montreal

Both of these teams are off to horrible starts, but Montreal is 8-0 its last eight games after a home loss of three or more goals and the Canadiens come off a 4-0 embarrassment to Los Angeles on Thursday. Carey Price saved 24 shots as his team couldn't make it two straight wins after beating Florida 5-1 two days earlier. New York has lost six of its last eight, but did manage to beat Arizona 5-2. Pavel Buchnevich scored twice for the Rangers.  Henrik Lundqvist is questionable for the Rangers as he has started nine games this season and has a 3.12 goals-against average and .909 save percentage. His backup, Ondrej Pavelec, has a 3.08 GAA in three games. The Rangers are 1-4 after a win and 0-5 their last five road games. Montreal is 12-4 its last 16 games following a loss of three or more goals home or away. Play the Canadiens.
