Samuel Montembeault is confirmed for the Canadiens and he has lost his past two starts while giving up eight goals, including a 4-1 loss to Los Angeles on Thursday. Shesterkin is 3-0-1 with a 2.61 goals-against average. The Rangers have won seven of the past 10 meetings and 13 of their past 17 road games.
