This will be the first of a home and home set by these two teams concluding on Sunday. The Rangers struck quick in the NHL season. It was New York’s defense and goaltending that led the fast start as the Rangers allowed just three goals or less in 10 of their first 13. Since that point however, the Rangers are allowing nearly three goals a game over their last 12, and have allowed three or more to slip through in five games. Florida has had difficulty stopping good teams (.600 or better) as they have played seven of the last 10 OVER the total. The Rangers have been an over team themselves on the road, with a mark of 5-2-2 to the OVER in their last nine on the road. I'll play this one to go OVER the total.
