The Columbus Blue Jackets have made a lot of progress over the past couple years, and hope this is the season they get over the top. They certainly have to be charged up by starting the season with a victory. Rick Nash returns to Columbus tonight where he remains the franchise leader in goals scored, but Nash heard the boos at the Garden in the opener as he was a no-show in the playoffs last year. The Blue Jackets certainly have incentive to keep him down on home ice. The Blue Jackets had a strong track record last season on a day of rest where they closed the season 13-6 in their last 19.
