New York suffered an embarrassing 7-3 defeat at home against the Blue Jackets on Sunday, and now the Rangers are looking for payback tonight on the road. The Rangers come off a 3-2 overtime win at Minnesota on Thursday when Braden Schneider scored the winner 1:51 into the extra session, and Igor Shesterkin had 26 saves. Columbus has lost four of five while allowing 21 goals. Shesterkin has a 2.85 goals-against average with four shutouts this season. He has stopped 48 of 52 shots in his past two starts. The Rangers have won seven of 10 meetings with the Blue Jackets and six of nine on the road. Columbus lost 4-0 to Vegas on Thursday, the second time in four games the Blue Jackets have been shut out.
