New York at Colorado

The New York Rangers are a stellar 12-6 on the road. They're also strong everywhere, third in the NHL in goals scored, ninth in goals allowed, fifth on the power play, and ninth in penalty killing. New York is coming off a 6-3 win in Arizona on Thursday, tallying four times on the power play. The Rangers are 58-26 against a team with a losing record. Colorado has lost nine straight home games and has been outscored 12-3 in the last two games at the Pepsi Center. Colorado is 4-12 at home overall, last in the league in goals scored and allowed. The Avalanche are still without goaltender Semyon Varlamov because of a groin strain. He skated a little Thursday but is not ready to return. The Avalanche are also on a 7-20 run at home.
