Carolina has problems everywhere, #26 in goals scored and on the power play, #19 in goals allowed. The Hurricanes are 15-33 following a win, plus 15-37 vs. a team with a winning record. New York scored twice on the power play en route to a 4-3 win over the Hurricanes on November 3, its eighth straight victory in the series. The Rangers have also killed off 28 of 29 penalties over the last 10 meetings. The Rangers are 35-16-1 against the Hurricanes, including 8-1 at Carolina.
