Ilya Sorokin had 25 saves for the Islanders and he still has won five of his past seven decisions, including the three previous before Friday and he owns a 2.41 goals-against average and .924 save percentage with five shutouts this season and he is expected in net for this game. New York has won the past six meetings after defeating the Jets 2-1 on Wednesday when Sorokin stopped 25 shots. The Islanders have won six of seven after scoring two or fewer goals their previous game and they are 8-1 the past nine meetings at Winnipeg. The Jets are 10-26 versus the Metropolitan Division.
