The last (and only) time these two teams met in a Game 7, it was one for the ages. The "Eastern Epic" which took place in 1987 went four overtimes with the Islanders coming out on top. It's only fitting that these teams go seven games given that they both ended the season with 101 points. The edge here (as it does in many Game 7s) goes to the home team. Washington's defense is superior and I expect that to be the difference tonight. They have allowed just 2.3 per game at home and 2.0 overall in their last five games.
