One of the biggest surprises of the 2014-15 season has been the stellar play of the New York Islanders. New York was not even a playoff team a year ago, but here they are at 19-9 at 28 games into the season, and own a stellar 9-6 mark on the road. They come in a bit under-valued as they are off a pair of losses, but are still 8-3 in their last 11 games. This is a team that puts a lot of pressure on opposing defenses as they have scored 3 goals or more in 18 of their 28 games this season, and just Vancouver, and Pittsburgh have done so more. St. Louis is 10-3-1 at home, but the aforementioned Vancouver Canucks, a team that scores a lot consistently, is one of those losses at 4-1. The Blues have also been leaking oil on the defensive end in recent games, coughing up 4 goals in three of them. The Islanders take down good teams on the road at 8-2 in their last 10 vs. teams with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. Take the Islanders.
