New York at Philadelphia

The NY Islanders head out on the road after playing eight of the last nine at home. New York is playing well on a 7-3 run and runs into a slumping Flyers offense. Philadelphia has slipped to #20 in the NHL in goals scored after a 2-0 loss at home to St. Louis the last game. The Flyers failed to score in losses to Los Angeles and St. Louis after beginning their string of home games with a 3-1 victory over Montreal last Thursday. It doesn't help the offense that rookie Travis Konecny (22 points) will be sidelined 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury he suffered in Monday's loss. Philadelphia has allowed fewer than three goals in six of its last seven games but has scored fewer than three in seven of nine contests, on a 6-1-2 run UNDER the total.
