New York at New Jersey

A quick 3-1 start by the New York Islanders quickly melted into a 2-14 nightmare over their last 16 games. They did however; play highly competitive against this same New Jersey team in their last outing in a 1-0 loss. The Devils haven't exactly been rock solid behind the net, allowing 39 goals in their last 14 contests, almost 3 per outing. That inconsistency has manifested itself into a 2-5 mark following a game where they allowed 2 or fewer goals. This now sets up as a home-and-home revenge match for the Islanders, and I like them to bow their backs and steal the win here on the road. Play the Islanders in this one.
