New York has won five of the last seven meetings, including 3-0 on Jan. 19 when John Tavares scored two goals and Thomas Greiss made 23 saves. The Islanders will be well rested as they haven't played since Saturday when they were pummeled 7-0 at Columbus, which snapped a three-game winning streak. It was the third road game in five days for New York and Jean-Francois Berube and Greiss split time in goal. Dallas scored three times in the third period in a 3-2 win over Pittsburgh on Wednesday.
