The Hurricanes have scored 20 goals in three games against the Islanders this season and they have won three of their last five overall while New York is on a two-game losing streak. Jean-Francois Berube and Thomas Greiss each allowed four goals in Monday's barrage. Greiss is expected in goal tonight and he now has a .916 save percentage and 2.66 goals-against average.
