The New York Islanders cannot afford any losses if they want to maintain an outside chance at making the postseason, and they come off a 2-1 win over New Jersey on Friday. Anders Lee and Anthony Beauvillier scored to back Jaroslav Halak, who made 26 saves. Halak has won two of three games since returning to the roster in late March. The Islanders won the previous meeting, 5-1, on Dec. 23, and they have won five of their last seven road games. Buffalo is 27-58 against Metropolitan Division teams dating to last season and 18-37 when its opponent scored two or fewer goals its previous game. The Sabres haven't played since Tuesday when they lost 3-1 at Columbus. Goalie Robin Lehner is 22-23-8 with a 2.63 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage. Play the Islanders on the puckline.
