The New York Islanders are a team deep and talented club, #15 in the NHL in goals scored, #11 on the power play, eighth in goals allowed and fourth in penalty killing. The Islanders won at San Jose to start the trip, 4-2, as a dog and the Islanders are 22-6 in the third game of a three-in-four situation. Anaheim is #30 in the NHL in goals scored and #25 on the power play, a disappointing team all season. Blowing leads has also contributed to the team's frustration. Anaheim gave up a two-goal, second-period advantage to the Coyotes before surrendering a pair of leads in the third Wednesday in another 4-3 defeat.
