New Jersey at Tampa Bay

New Jersey hasn't started this bad since 2001 when they started the season 0-3-1. It's still early and I like them to right the ship this evening. Martin Brodeur is not this bad and he will play better. It's a good thing they get the Lightning - a team they have dominated. Over the past two years, New Jersey has outscored Tampa Bay 28-16 with a 1.87 GAA. The Devils are 7-1 vs. Tampa Bay over the past three seasons including 3-1 here in Tampa. The Lightning are 12-28 at home the past two seasons. I like a motivated Devils team here.
