Things couldn't be any better for the New Jersey Devils at this point of the season. The road has been kind as well. New Jersey dropped their road opener but has since won 9 straight road games. Probably more impressive than that their average winning margin on the road has been 2 goals per contest. The Devils have allowed just 16 total goals in their 9-game winning streak. The Rangers dropped the last game on their western swing and started the homestand with a loss to Edmonton. That has left them at 4-7 in their previous 11 games. This is a natural geographic rivalry, so I don't look for the Devils to turn it off for this game, they are looking for the road streak to reach 10, and an excellent chance it does.
