Montreal has had trouble scoring all season long. Aside from a 7-goal eruption against Ottawa, the Canadiens have tallied a grand total of just 46 goals in their last 20 games. Fortunately for them they have held opponents to 2 or less in nine of their last 14 games. The Rangers are in a similar spot as they hung 7 on Toronto, but otherwise they have found the net just 28 times in their last 16 games. The Devils have ridden the UNDER vs. the Northeast to the tune of a 40-14-5 mark in their last 59, while Montreal is 18-8-6 to the UNDER vs. the East. In their last 21 meetings in Montreal these clubs have played to a 17-3-1 mark to the UNDER. All indicators point one way – the UNDER is my call.
