New Jersey at Detroit

After 52.5 minutes of furious defensive intensity last night with neither team scoring, the St. Louis Blues and the Detroit Red Wings opened the flood gates with a late offensive fury. The two teams saw 4 goals scored in the last 7.5 minutes of the game, ultimately won by the Red Wings. That was a huge emotional road win and I think the intensity tonight for the Red Wings is going to be missing, and a much higher scoring probability here. The Devils have put up 14 goals in their last three games, and are certainly equipped to take advantage. The Red Wings have been nearly impossible to stop on home ice, as they have scored three or more times in 28 of their last 33 here. This looks like a highly vulnerable low total, so play on the OVER.
