The New Jersey Devils have played up on the road this season at 7-5 and have been lighting the lamp with a high degree of frequency having scored three goals or more in six of their last seven on the road. Colorado has simply not been a competitive team on home ice with a dismal 4-9 start this season through their first 13 played in Colorado. One certain problem area has been that they have allowed three goals or more in nine of the 13 played here, or just about 70% of the time. That puts a low posted total in jeopardy here and the Avalanche has also rebounded from a sub-par offensive showing posting a 17-8-1 mark to the OVER after scoring 2 or less in their last game. The Devils road scoring prowess has allowed them to play four of their last five roadies OVER as well. Play the OVER in this one.
