New Jersey is off a terrific win over Buffalo, rallying from 2-0 down before Adam Henrique and Patrik Elias scored in the final 6 1/2 minutes of the third period. New Jersey has overcome injuries to remain in second place in the Atlantic Division, and the Devils are 25-8 in their last 33 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation. They take on a Carolina team that is close to .500 at home (6-5), one with weak defense (No. 17 in goals allowed) and bad specialty units, ranked No. 23 in penalty killing and No. 29 on the power play. They come off a 4-2 loss at home to Montreal, blowing four power plays (no goals). The Hurricanes are 7-19 in their last 26 against the Atlantic Division and the Devils are 6-2 in the last eight meetings. Take New Jersey.
