The New Jersey Devils will bring their 2-1 record to Atlanta tonight to face the 1-1-1 Thrashers. The Thrashers were impressive in their opener winning 7-4, but they have struggled since. They are allowing 3.67 goals a game and that has been their problem. New Jersey had been solid behind Martin Broduer, but the net was leaky in his last outing allowing four goals. These teams have a history of lighting up the nets when they play in Atlanta. Over the last three years, which includes the last six times these teams have met, this matchup has produced 48 goals, or an average eight per contest!
