New Jersey at Anaheim

Anaheim cannot afford many more losses if it wants to make the playoffs, and the Ducks are 5-1 their last six home games and 8-1 their last nine when playing with one day of rest. Meanwhile, New Jersey is 2-7 its last nine games versus Western Conference teams and 1-4 its last five playing on no rest.  The Ducks come off a 4-2 win over Detroit on Friday as Corey Perry scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period and John Gibson made 28 saves.  That followed a 3-0 shutout of Vancouver two nights before when Gibson had 32 saves. He now is 27-17-6 with a 2.47 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage on the season with three shutouts. Anaheim has won six straight against Metropolitan Division teams. Take the Ducks.
