New Jersey is inexplicably 20-51 its past 71 Friday games and the home team is 22-8 the past 30 meetings between these teams as the Devils travel to the West Coast after splitting their past 10 games. The Devils defeated Carolina 5-3 on Tuesday, but it was the first time they won two in a row since Dec. 6 and they have lost 10 of 15.
