Washington won for the seventh time in nine games with a 6-2 victory over Columbus on Thursday night as T.J. Oshie scored twice and Darcy Kuemper had 25 saves. Nashville also played last night and beat Carolina 5-3 and now will play two road games in two nights and Kevin Lankinen is probable with a 3-4-1 record this season. Juuse Saros will need a day off after he had a franchise-record 64 saves against the Hurricanes. Washington has not lost in regulation since Dec. 15 and it has won the past three meetings.
