Nashville at St. Louis

Nashville goes for a third straight win after defeating Carolina 5-2 on Monday. Jonathan Marchessault scored two goals and Juuse Saros had 25 saves for the Predators. St. Louis has lost five of seven although the Blues did get a 4-0 win over struggling Detroit, which then fired its coach, Derek Lalonde. The Blues had scored only three goals their previous three games while losing all of them. St. Louis is 1-6 its past six games against Central Division opponents, 1-6 their past seven Friday games and 1-5 as home underdogs. St. Louis has lost five of six versus teams that scored at least five goals their previous game. Saros has played better than his record indicates as he owns a 2.69 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage with three shutouts. Nashville has won the past four meetings. Take the Predators.
