Nashville continued its remarkable playoff run with a 4-3 win in Game 1 even though the Predators lost left wing Kevin Fiala for the rest of the playoffs due to a leg injury. Pekka Rinne made 27 saves and Vernon Fiddler scored with 5:05 left while P.K. Subban had a goal and two assists. St. Louis has lost eight of its last 13 home playoff games. Nashville was two of three in power play opportunities while the Blues now are 1-of-16 with a man advantage in the playoffs. Rinne has allowed only six goals in his five postseason starts and he has a 2.42 goals-against average on the season. Blues goalie Jake Allen has given up seven goals his last two games. The Predators have won 20 of their last 27 against Western Conference games overall and five of their last seven against St. Louis. Look for those trends to continue tonight, so play the Predators.
