Nashville at New York

The Nashville Predators will open a season of high expectations in the Big Apple, as they take on the NY Rangers. Nashville is considered by many to be a candidate to win the Stanley Cup. The Rangers were not a playoff team a year ago and began a roster overhaul by letting go of several veterans at the trade deadline and firing their coach following the end of the season. The Rangers have a very young roster and have little time playing with each other, and against a solid Nashville team, that is going to expose them here. The Rangers are going to need time to find some chemistry, and will likely be on the outside looking in again this season. Take Nashville in this one.
