Nashville had its four-game win streak broken in a 2-1 loss to Toronto on Wednesday night when Mitch Marner scored a power-play goal with 1:15 to go in the third period for the Maple Leafs. Juuse Saros had 33 saves for the Predators, who likely will start Kevin Lankinen in this game and he comes off a 3-2 win over Washington on Friday when he stopped 30 shots and lowered his goals-against average to 2.81 with a .918 save percentage. Montreal has lost eight of nine, including 4-0 to Seattle on Monday and the Canadiens have averaged only 2.0 goals their past 10 games. Goalie Jake Allen is questionable with an upper body injury so the Canadiens could turn to Cayden Primeau, who is 3-10-2 with a 4.21 GAA in his NHL career. Nashville has won five of seven on the road and it has won seven of the past eight meetings. Montreal is 6-17 playing with two days rest. Take the Predators.
