Nashville at Dallas

The Winter Classic is in Dallas of all places and Nashville needs the game to gain on the Stars in the standings. The Predators are out to avenge a 4-1 loss to the Stars on Dec. 14. Dallas goalie Ben Bishop has lost four of his last five starts while allowing 17 goals in that span. Bishop is 13-9-2-1 on the season and Nashville goaltender Pekka Rinne is 13-7-1-2 with a 3.02 goals-against average. The Predators are averaging 3.44 goals compared to 2.62 for Dallas and they are 9-4 their last 13 versus teams with winning records. There are always some unknowns when playing an outdoor game and that usually gives the advantage to the underdog and this game is being played at the Cotton Bowl. Take the Predators.
