Colorado finally got a win over the Predators after losing to them 12 times in a row. That should be a big help mentally for the Avalanche, who cut the series deficit to 2-1 as Nathan MacKinnon scored twice. The Avs actually chased Pekka Rinne on Monday with three first-period goals in a 5-3 win.  Jonathan Bernier had 29 saves and he now is 19-13-3 with a .285 goals-against average and .913 save percentage on the season. This has been a physical series and Colorado won't back down, especially after MacKinnon took a punch to the head which didn't result in a penalty. Colorado has won 20 of its last 26 home games and the home team has won the first three games of this series. Look for Colorado to keep it close, so play the Avalanche on the puckline.
